AEGIS project 5th Newsletter
The ÃGIS Project (Open Source-based Generalised Accessibility Support for Mainstream ICT) aims to make devices like desktop computers, mobile phones and internet applications more accessible to people with disabilities.
The fifth issue of the AEGIS Newsletter is now available, with a focus on the findings of the projectâs first pilot testing phase, as well as the findings of the 1st AEGIS International Conference that took place in combination with the 2nd Pan-European Workshop/User Forum.
AEGIS is not only about technology, but also about people and how their needs can be met. A major topic in this issue is their opinion about what AEGIS do, expressed though interviews with users who have already tried out the AEGIS developments.
Finally, the 2nd international AEGIS Conference and User Forum is announced.
