Information Day Appointments
At Ace Centre, we believe that information should be accessible to all, up-to-date, unbiased and free at source to people in need, which is why we host information days at each of our centres every month.
Each information day consists of five separate one hour appointments which are completely free.
These appointments do not provide a full AT/AAC assessment. Instead, they are an opportunity to meet informally with our staff and discuss your needs. So, whether you are new to AAC/AT and trying to find a starting point, or you are already using AAC/AT and want to know how to move on, book in and come and have a chat.
Your free 1 hour appointment can be used for a range of purposes including, but not limited to:
- General advice/ overview of Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Specific advice on resources/ strategies relating to AT/AAC
- Exploring the range of resources used at the Centre
Up to 6 people may attend each appointment.

If you live outside reasonable travelling distance to the Centre and would like to access our Information Day service, it may be possible to organise an Information Day in your area.

Please note that this service is a very popular one, and that appointments are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Book early to avoid disappointment.
